Background

This blog is a guide through my second 365 project journey.  Last year, my goal was to try and push myself to be creative each day by creating a creature for each day of the year.  I experimented with many different mediums of art - from origami to graffiti.  My project from last year can be seen here:  www.365creativecreatures.blogspot.com.  My project was inspired by my wife, Yasna, as she began her own in 2012.  Her enthusiasm for her own project is what inspired me.  She took a picture each day and then wrote a poem about each one based on one word!  You can she hers here:  www.word-e-bird-e.blogspot.com.  She got her inspiration from Noah Scalin, the originator of the 365 projects.  He began his with a year of skulls.  His site can be found here: http://skulladay.blogspot.com/
He currently has a make something 365 website that features many other projects done by great people like myself!  Here is the link:   http://makesomething365.blogspot.com/
My 365 project this year stems off of my project from last year.  I learned a lot about myself and my own artistic skills!  This year's project was inspired by some of my own work - I really enjoyed my rock paintings from last year!  So I am going to focus on painting rocks, you may see lots of animals along with flowers, landscapes and more.  I am really excited to work on this project.  I also wanted to incorporate some other skills along with this, so I will be writing a haiku based on whatever rock I am painting.  I find that this is a way that I can work on something that I am not the greatest at writing.
Thank you for visiting my page and I hope to get some feedback from you!
